Tell me about what happens in a club

In our after school club programmes, the children are taught thematically to build vocabulary and grammar. The children use our culturally diverse resource “Global French” We also ensure that the children are able to have fun by building in games and other workshops into the programme.

During our holiday programmes, the children have an intensive fun filled week of various activities such as cooking, dance, games, sports but especially drama. The week long programme usually ends with a performance to which the parents are invited. Performances have included, The Lion King, The Little Red Ridding Hood, Christmas nativity and other.

How can I run a club in my school

Whether you want to run an after school club or holiday programme we are interested in hearing from you. The following things will have to be considered by the school to accommodate the programme:

  • Space – our term time programmes require a class room space but sometimes a kitchen or hall area. Our holiday programmes would require a school hall, play area,
  • Resources – All we require is access to a photocopier
  • Costs- The clubs can be funded directly by parents or from the school projects
