The National Language Strategy recognises the importance of languages in the knowledge society of the 21st Century. The Government’s vision is to increase the number of people learning languages beyond school. The languages ladder offers a system of recognition for language learners at all levels from breakthrough to mastery.

"Parlons" ­ For business partners

"Parlons" is an innovative language learning model that focuses on conversational French in small groups. Over a term (12 weeks), a group of 5-10 adults meet every week for conversation with our animators. The programme is offered at breakthrough, preliminary and intermediate levels. The “Parlons” package includes optional placements at our French holiday scheme for children and young people allowing clients to work along side our animators. Package includes visits to Ciné Lumière the Official French film cinema of the French Institute South Kensington.

"Apprenons" ­ Learning together

Imagine learning how to make crêpes (French pancakes) and speak French at the same time! "Apprenons" sessions do just that. They are

• Are creative and fun
• Enables children and adults to learn together
• Motivates learners by offering additional skills when learning French.
• Promotes intercultural understanding through video and story telling sessions.
• Can be run anywhere in the community
